What the workshop builds

  1. Dining tables

    Refectory, trestle, and pedestal tables in oak, ash, or walnut. Solid tops, traditional joinery, finished in hardwax oil.

  2. Sideboards & dressers

    Country dressers, low sideboards, Welsh dressers, glazed display cabinets. Hardwood case work throughout.

  3. Kitchen pieces

    Freestanding kitchen islands, butcher's blocks, breakfast tables, larder cupboards. Often part of a larger kitchen project.

  4. Fitted joinery

    Alcove cupboards, fitted shelving, window seats, panelling, occasional staircases. Site visit before any quote.

  5. Bookcases & bureaux

    Freestanding and fitted bookcases, writing bureaux, hall consoles. Hardwood throughout — no veneered carcasses.

  6. Smaller fill-in work

    Cutting boards, serving boards, side tables, plant stands, small turned bowls. Made between larger commissions.

Hand-delivery and on-site installation are included across the North West. Longer journeys are quoted separately based on transport and rigging requirements.

Visit

A workshop visit or site visit depending on the piece. Fitted joinery is always on site.

Sketch & quote

Initial drawings and a written quote with materials and timeline, usually within a week.

Build & install

Deposit secures a slot in the queue. Build time depends on the piece; delivery and install included locally.
